Who we are
dubaitrip.tech operates the travel booking service at wl.dubaitrip.tech and is the controller of the personal information described here. This policy explains what we collect when you browse, search, book or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers this website, our booking flows and the messages we send you. Questions can be sent to our support team via the contact page at any time.
Information we collect
We collect the details you give us: your name, email address and phone number, and — where a booking requires it — traveller documents such as passport data, dates of birth and loyalty numbers. Payment card details are entered into and processed by our certified payment providers and are not stored on our own servers. We also keep a record of your bookings, the messages you exchange with our support team, and technical data such as IP address, device and browser type, approximate location and the pages you visit.
How and why we use your information
We use your information to create and manage your account, complete and service bookings, issue tickets and vouchers, take payment, prevent fraud and abuse, answer support requests, meet legal, tax and travel-regulation obligations, and keep the service secure and improve it. We rely on our contract with you for booking-related processing, on legal obligations where the law requires records, on our legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable service, and on your consent for optional marketing messages and non-essential cookies.
Email, SMS and WhatsApp messages
We send two kinds of messages. Service messages — booking confirmations, tickets, itinerary changes, payment receipts, one-time security codes and support replies — are needed to deliver what you asked for and go to the email address or phone number you gave us. Marketing messages such as offers and travel inspiration are sent only if you opt in. You can opt out at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or reply STOP to an SMS or WhatsApp message. Opting out of marketing never stops service messages for bookings you have made. WhatsApp messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform and are also subject to WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy; we use your number on that channel only where you gave it to us or messaged us there first.
Who we share your information with
To fulfil a booking we pass the traveller details required by the airline, hotel, transfer operator or other provider delivering the service, and by the reservation systems and consolidators used to issue it. We also use service providers that process data on our behalf under contract: cloud hosting, payment processing, fraud screening, email delivery (Amazon Web Services / Amazon SES), SMS aggregators, and Meta Platforms for WhatsApp Business messaging. We disclose information to authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information, and we never share your contact details with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your language and currency, protect the site, and understand how it is used so we can improve it. Essential cookies are always active; analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your consent, which you can change at any time. Our cookie policy describes each category in more detail.
How long we keep your information
Booking and payment records are kept for as long as needed to deliver your trip and then for the period required by tax, accounting, consumer-protection and travel law — typically several years after travel. Support conversations and messaging logs are kept for a shorter period for quality and dispute purposes. Account data is kept while your account is open. When a retention period ends, the data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
How we protect your information
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and encrypted at rest. Access is limited to the staff and processors who need it for their work, controlled by individual accounts, role-based permissions and audit logging. Card data is handled only by PCI-DSS-compliant payment providers. We monitor for unusual activity and follow a documented incident procedure, including notifying you and the relevant regulator where the law requires it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of your data, correct inaccurate details, delete data we no longer need to keep, receive it in a portable format, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent you gave earlier. Write to our support team via the contact page; we verify your identity and respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
Travel is global, so completing a booking may mean sending your details to airlines, hotels and providers in the country you are travelling to, and our hosting and messaging providers may process data outside your own country. Where data leaves your region we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision, and we transfer only what the provider needs.
Children
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 other than the traveller details an adult provides when booking travel for them. If you believe a child has given us data outside a booking, contact our support team via the contact page and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy and how to contact us
We update this policy when our services or the law change; the date shown above is the current version, and material changes are announced on this page. For any privacy question, request or complaint, contact dubaitrip.tech at our support team via the contact page.
